university brief: illustrate someone who is, in your opinion, an underappreciated and unsung hero of our time.
i believe the miners strikes in england are a hugely important part of british history; the strikes were one of the last events in our nations history when the people of a country, not the government, had a serious opportunity to make a real difference. it's a real shame so few people my age know about the miners strikes, they're pretty relevant to the times we're living in right now.
enough politics, please continue perusing.
